On 17th January 2025, a group of 49 students from St. Karen’s High School, accompanied by Vice Principal Mr. Sanjay Joseph and Ms. Rolly Swaroop, visited Taru Mitra, Patna to interact and learn about maintaining a clean and sustainable environment while celebrating Diwali safely.

Fr. Tony Pendanath, S.J. and Ms. Devo Priya Dutta, the Programme Coordinator, addressed the students on the importance of environmental conservation. The students actively participated in making herbal tea from Hibiscus leaves and gifted decorative items crafted from unused materials and waste materials.

The visit was both educational and enjoyable, offering students a meaningful experience in eco-friendly celebration and creative reuse.
