GOLDEN JUBILEE MASS

GOLDEN JUBILEE MASS OF CELEBRATION AND THANKSGIVING

The Golden Jubilee Mass of Celebration and Thanksgiving was held on the 29th of April 2015, the Feast Day of the School.

A High Mass celebrated by the Rt. Rev. William D’souza, Archbishop of Patna Diocese and con-celebrated by 15 priests was attended by around 500 staff members of the St.Karen’s group of schools as well as around 50 special invitees.

The evening started with a candle-lit procession by the honoured guests, members of the management and the celebrants of the Mass. Each guest held candles with messages of values spread by our educational pursuits. The echoes of the Golden Jubilee song ‘Shine Karenites’ sung by the choir as well as the staff, each holding lit candles, added a special significance to the theme of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations which is ‘Shining to Outshine – with a Golden Radiance’. The beautiful evening setting was further magnified by the glorious singing of the choir that added a divine aura to the celebration, as everyone present lifted their voices and hearts in united praise to the Almighty, for bestowing his blessings on the school for the past 50 years.

Some of the staff presented special Intercessory Prayers as a ‘Rainbow of Golden Prayers’ and made special offerings on behalf of the gathering resplendent in their brilliant attire.

The Mass was followed by a Thanksgiving Dinner.
